To register and approve your Tal Card we only need your complete name, date of birth, mother’s maiden name, phone number, and a valid address in the United States, the presentation of a picture identificationand the payment of the emission fee.

What is the cost to obtain a Tal Card?
For only $19.95 you obtain your Tal Card PIN instantly released at the point of sales as well as your personalized Mastercard® card at your address. Both cards can stay active and share the same account, not being necessary to transfer values between these.
How long do I need to wait for my Tal Card?
Your Tal Card is given to you at the time of purchase, when done trough authorized agents. If you chose the personalized card trough the authorized agent, you will receive a temporary card, while the permanent card will be send by mail.
When the cards are send by mail (obtained trough agents, online or trough the Customer Service Tal Card), we request a maximum time of 15 days.
Can the Tal Card be obtained in Brazil?
The tal Card is an American card, therefore, can only be obtained in the United States. However, the personalized Tal Card can be used anywhere around the world, including Brazil.
What is the documentation required for the release of the Tal Card?
Besides the user identification (name, date of birth, mother’s maiden name, and valid address in the United States), the only requirement for the release of the Tal Card is the presentation of a picture identification provided by the government of any country. The Tal Card is a pre-paid reloadable card that works as a debit card. It can be personalized or for instant emission (PIN-only card).

Who represents Tal Card?
The Tal Card is a company controlled by the experienced Company of Corporative, Technologic and Educational Solutions, as well as Electronic Transaction Process and Network of Discounts and Advantages in the state of Florida – Network Card Systems Corp ( Nesysco Card).

Do I need a bank account to request a Tal Card?

The brands Pulse®, Star®, ITS, GreenDot and Mastercard® appear on the back of the Tal Card. Pulse® and Star® represent the network of ATMs and Points of Sales (POS) where the card can be used. Green Dot represents the network of points of reload of the card, in addition to the Tal Card agents located in stores with Brazilian products in the United States. Yes, you can make cashback transaction with your Tal Card at any establishment that accepts this type of operation, which is nothing more than a change in cash. At the moment of the purchase, you must request a superior debit (under the limits established by the store) than the final value of the merchandise you are acquiring and receive the difference (change) in cash.

Can the purchases be paid in instalments with the Tal Card?
Purchases with the Tal card in the United States cannot be paid in installments. However, when the user has his/ her credit approved by Tal Card, the installment purchase of goods and services with our partners will be possible.
Will the store ask for identification on purchases with the Tal Card?
This is a procedure that depends on the store policy. Sometimes, in the United States, stores request picture identification for purchases of higher value at department stores, supermarkets and electronic stores.

Is it possible to make withdrawals with a bank attendant?
No. The Tal Card only allows withdrawals at ATMs identified by the trademarks Pulse®, Star® and Mastercard®, or through the cashback transactions at stores.
What is the exchange rate used for withdrawals in Brazil?
The exchange rate used is based on the rate of the day provided by the Mastercard® International. For more information, please consult the Tal Card terms and conditions of use.
How to transfer money with the Tal Card?
First, it is necessary to fulfill the registration of the beneficiaries (must be registered all the persons you usually send money to, in order to facilitate future operations, identifying each person by name, CPF, address and bank information, in case the deposits are made in bank accounts).
The registration can be done online, trough your online account or by the phone at the Tal Card Center of Relationships (1 866 708 1746). This registration is done a single time, and for the next remittances, simply identify on your list of benefits who the remittances will be sent to.

How long does the transfered money takes o become available?
All transference of funds between cards are made in real time, meaning, the money will be immediately available for use.
How to pay bills with the Tal Card?
With your Tal Card you can pay several utility bills. Utility bills are , for example, telephone, water, gas and electricity bills.
To pay a bill, you must contact the company’s service operator and proceed in the following way:
1- Inform the number of your card, expiration date and security code (3 last numbers on the back of the card).
2- Follow the instructions of the company’s services operator.
3- If needed, inform the routing number of your Tal Card, which is 1031001954.
4- Confirm that the operation was concluded successfully.

These services do not cost anything.
